PADI Tec Trimix
By extending your depth range capabilities, the PADI Tec Trimix Diver course takes you to the outer edges of technical deep diving, opening the door to pristine dive sites few divers – if any – ever see.
During the course, you
- use full technical diving equipment
- plan and execute at least five trimix decompression dives using various trimix blends
- use decompression software to create custom dive tables and dive plans
- make training dives to 90 metres
Course materials
You will use the Tec Trimix Diver Crew Pak which covers all required materials, including course manual, deep stop calculation table, trimix decal and emergency procedures slate. Topics covered by the Crew Pak include:
- trimix diving depth ranges
- exposure planning
- selecting a mix
- argon inflation systems
- handling three or four decompression cylinders
- decompression models
- emergency procedures
- face masks and multi-gas computers
Student Pre-Requisites
- Minimum age: 18 years.
- Minimum of 150 logged dives.
- PADI Rescue Diver certification or equivalent,
- PADI Tec 50 certification or equivalent,
- PADI Tec Trimix 65 certification or equivalent.
