Become an SDI Computer Nitrox Diver diver by learning about the future of scuba diving with Enriched Air. When you increase the amount of oxygen in your tank you decrease the amount of nitrogen allowing an increase in the length of time you can stay at your maximum depth and increase the opportunity to explore more. Once considered to be very much Tech diving, Nitrox diving is now mainstream and should be on every divers agenda, with SDI we here at Big Blue Tech focus on real-world diving and training with computers very much a part of this. Nitrox training with a Big Blue Tech instructor will mean a more in-depth experience for sure.

Itinerary
Your SDI Computer Nitrox Course starts with meeting your Big Blue Tech Instructor, grabbing a coffee from our beachside restaurant and settling in for the morning, initially we complete paperwork and review the online academics. Your instructor will then highlight all the pertinent points and ensure a thorough understanding of Nitrox theory before conducting the practical assignments of analysing your Nitrox, labelling your tanks and understanding your computer.

What can I expect to learn about?
Yor Big Blue Tech instructor will take you through:
- Physiology of using different breathing gas mixtures and equipment considerations for using nitrox
- How to safely use nitrox mixtures up to 40 percent with a dive computer
- Advantages and disadvantages of utilizing nitrox mixtures, how to analyze a nitrox mixture
And an insight into Nitrox in the Tech diving realm.
Will I be able to dive this certification with Big Blue Tech after the course?
Absolutely, We encourage all of our newly certified students to get back in the water and enjoy their new certifications. We’ll provide a Nitrox certified Dive Master to accompany you but you’ll also be part of the planning process and gain more experience of being a leader and not a passenger on dives.
